Mondelez International, Inc. is an American multinational confectionery, food and beverage conglomerate, employing around 100,000 people around the world. It comprises the global snacking and food brands of the former Kraft Foods. Understanding the need to reduce their energy costs, while also increasing their electrical efficiency standards, drove them to undertaken an energy efficiency project with EIS. The Chicago Bakery is the largest bakery in the world, employing more than 1,500 workers and turning out some 320 million pounds of snack foods annually.
